I wanted to be a sports writer as early as 4th grade.

My motives had changed by the time I achieved that dream, though.

It wasn’t just the games I got to watch, but the stories I could tell.

It is a craft, storytelling. One I practiced every day in the 20 years I worked in Seattle media first as a newspaper reporter and then a radio host.

Now, I’m taking the skills and techniques I learned in my journalism career and using them to tell more personal stories.
