Don’t worry about scoring … yet
MONDAY, SEPT. 8, 2025 — The first game of the season isn’t all that great a weather vane when it comes to scoring.
Over the past 24 seasons, Seattle has scored an average of 20.3 points in the season-opener and 23.4 points in the remainder of the regular season.
Still, 13 points is a meager output even by those standards so I went back and looked at similarly small outputs and measured where the offense ended up.
